In Loving Memory of Robert Ronald "Ronnie" Wynn

April 3, 1953 - September 11, 2023

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Ronald "Ronnie" Wynn, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left this world on September 11, 2023, at his home in Tacna, Arizona, at the age of 70. Ronnie was born on April 3, 1953, in Phoenix, Arizona, to proud parents Leon and Margert Wynn.

Ronnie's journey through life was marked by a deep love for his family and a remarkable spirit that touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was married to his late wife, Patricia Wynn for 32 years. Ronnie was also preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Wynn and James Wynn.

Ronnie had a remarkable gift for storytelling. He regaled family and friends with captivating tales of his experiences, from his time working at the racetrack to serving two honorable tours of duty during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Air Force. His adventures as a truck driver and his tales of the world he had seen in his extensive travels left a lasting impression on all who heard them.

Ronnie had a deep appreciation for this great nation, its history, and the freedoms it represented. His love for travel, old movies, and a keen interest in history enriched his life and the lives of those around him. But above all, his heart belonged to his family, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

A memorial of Ronnie's life with full military honors will be held on October 6, 2023 at Camp Butler National Cemetery [5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707, section W].

As we bid farewell to Robert Ronald "Ronnie" Wynn, we remember a man who lived life to the fullest, whose stories will echo in our hearts, and whose love for family and country will remain an enduring legacy.
