Mark Christopher Peterson of Phoenix died October 16, 2024 after a brief illness. He was 70. Mark was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital on March 9, 1954 to the late Frances Parsons Peterson, a lawyer, and Richard W. Peterson. Jr., a banker. Mark was a 1972 graduate of Camelback High School and an Art student at both Phoenix College and ASU. Mark spent several years pursuing a music career in Mexico and California, eventually settling in San Diego. After several years in San Diego, he returned to Phoenix to be closer to family.
Mark’s marriage to Gloria Garate Aramburo ended in divorce. He is survived by his brother Rich (Chris) of Richmond, VA, and many nephews and cousins. https://www.azcentral.com/obituaries/pazs1001499

I believe Mark Peterson was a guitar player, as am I. I didn't know him well but I think I swapped guitar pickups with him. I may be mistaken but that's what I'm remembering. If so, he was a nice guy. Good looking, quiet (as I remember) and a good guitar player.
