Let's see. Since 1972...played guitar professionally, got my Recording Arts degree, was a sound engineer for major acts such as Doobie Brothers, Alice Cooper, Devo, and many others, was freelance sound engineer around Los Angeles, had a shot at fame with an original rock band formed with myself and my brother, called "Nipper". The rest of the 80's were spent recovering from the debauchery up to that point. Met my wife, Mindy, who basically turned me into a self-respecting contributor to society. Got my BS and MBA degrees. We will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary this year (2023). I have four great sons (lost fifth child to SIDS in 1998). I am now retired and to play my guitar and maintain my sanity by playing before anyone who will listen.

School Story

Now that my own children are done with high school I have a different take on my high school days. I have fond memories of my high school days, playing music with many people, sitting on the grass outside the home ec and art class playing my guitar with friends. I was never in the sports clique and girls never paid much attention to me. I loved math and music. It's the music I remember most vividly, that and a couple of girls in short shorts.

This may seem weird but I'm really confused. I was friends with a Joe Zazzera in high school. We hung out a lot. We were in the same grade. I'm sure of it. He owns Plant Solutions in Glendale, married and divorced his high school sweetheart, Cheryl, who hung out with us. I've looked him up on the Internet. I don't know any Jim Zazzera and his picture is not Joe. I don't remember Joe having a brother, let a alone a twin. Am I going crazy? Am I the only one that's seeing this? This has got me perplexed.

Hey y'all. Anyone remember me? :-) I'm remember some of you but those memories are dwindling. I'd love to have someone remind me of some of the great times we had! This is me these days, still playing a guitar. Not much else interests me...ok, my wife and four boys...but not much else. :-)
